Preschoolers Got to Watch ‘Insidious: Chapter 3’

I always think it’s hilarious when a theater “accidentally” shows a horror flick to a group of unsuspecting kids expecting to see a children’s film. (I put accidentally in quotes because most theaters staff teenagers who would play such a hysterical prank.)

As funny as it usually is, this instance is actually pretty fucked as a group of preschoolers watched the horrific opening reel to Leigh Whannell’s Insidious: Chapter 3 instead of Pixar’s Inside Out.

The story came via Jazmyn Moore who took to the Facebook page of the Journal-News in Ohio.

“I got our money back but the damage is already done…my children are terrified and keep asking questions,” shared an angry Moore.

I just want to know where the parents were. How did they not know that Inside Out is an animated film? How did they not realize they were watching the wrong movie? It can only be presumed that she’s either an idiot or left the kids unattended. Or maybe she noticed pretty quickly and exaggerated the event as if they sat in the theater for nearly 30 minutes. That sounds about right.
