EW has announced that Destination America has teamed up with psychic medium Chip Coffrey and his Ghost Asylum crew to perform an exorcism on the St. Louis, MO house that inspired the novel/film for The Exorcist. This will be the first ever live televised exorcism in the U.S. and will be aptly titled Exorcism: Live! The special will air this October.
The first ever televised exorcism was aired on NBC in 1971. You can see a poor quality version of that report below.
