Taglines. We may not think about them too much. They’re just that little blurb on a movie poster or front of a blu-ray. Most people probably just skim right past them, but for me they’re a crucial part of any good release. Whether it be the use of powerful, vivid words or a clever pun, a great tagline really sticks with you.
I understand I’m probably overselling taglines. It’s likely I’ve put more time into this blog post than most studios put into making taglines. Still, I love them and decided it would be fun to rank my top five favorite genre taglines.
