1. Halloween: Season of the Witch – 1982

Say what you will about Halloween III but I personally find it to be the second best movie in the Halloween series. It’s unique and dark as hell. Plus it has Tom Atkins and that’s a winning combination in my book. Before watching this film I thought the tagline was stupid. After one viewing my tune changed. This tagline is clever and quite layered. Apparently initial audiences didn’t expect this entry to be missing Myers, yet the tagline clearly states that “no one” will be coming home, implying that there will be no Myers. On top of that the plot of the movie is to kill all the kids in the world on Halloween night. Absolutely genius use of a tagline!
