4. Killer Klowns from Outer Space – 1988
“In Space No One Can Eat Ice Cream!”
In 1988 the Chiodo Brothers created a legendary camp classic with Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The tagline chosen to promote the movie was absolutely perfect. If for some reason the title wasn’t enough to let you know what you were getting into, this tagline certainly did the trick. It scores major points for being a fun play on the classic tagline from Alien, however, it does lose a few points for not being entirely truthful. I’ve had astronaut ice cream and since that’s a thing you can clearly eat ice cream in space.
