Iconic rockstar David Bowie has delighted fans by announcing that he’ll be releasing a new album titled Blackstar on January 8th, 2016, Bowie’s 69th birthday. The singer’s 25th album is the follow up to 2013’s The Next Day and we’ll be hearing the first single, the title track, on November 20th.
The singer shared a 45-second teaser of the title track when it was revealed to be the theme to “The Last Panthers”, an upcoming European heist thriller that will be premiering on Sky Atlantic this November.
The announcement came via Bowie’s website with no other news made available.
