Count Dracula’s Castle Has Dropped in Price

Two years ago, we posted that Bran Castle, which is located in Romania, was put up for sale by its Archduke owner for the cool price of £50 million, which translates today to just over $72 million. The castle is often claimed to be the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the novel that introduced Count Dracula to the world.

The castle is still on the market and its price has apparently dropped to $66 million, shaving off 8% from the original tag. While it’s still extremely expensive, that’s a pretty large percentage drop. While the owners are not saying how much they will budge on the price, Financial Times is claiming that an offer of $13.5 million would be enough to win them over.

Considering there are 57 bedrooms in the castle, that means we need to get 57 people to each chip in just under $237,000 a piece and we can own it. Who’s with me and who can spot me about $236,900?
