Before Burger King introduced the Black Whopper last year, Japan’s BK released their own all-black burger dubbed the KUR. We washed it down with Mountain Dew Pitch Black, of course. And with the Dew making their addictive delicious drink a regularly available item, we can now pair it with other unique Halloween items throughout the year.
Japan was the first to test out the all-black burger, and now they’re doing the same with chips. Doritos is going all-black, too, just in time for Halloween, releasing these garlic flavored snacks that are ironically for everyone except those who sleep during the day and play all night (I’m talking about vampires!). Weird as it may sound, this isn’t the first time Doritos has released an all-black chip – back in 2014 they tested out Rock’n’Black, a pepper and rock salt variation that has my mouth-watering (get me the Rock’n’Green jalapeno and cheese Doritos, please).
So, without further adieu, here’s a look at Garlic Pepper Doritos that we pray will find their way here to the States sometime soon. Have you guys seen any other new Halloween treats popping up in stores?
