Are you still watching?
If nothing more, “American Horror Story: Roanoke” has been a season that has gotten people talking. The first half of the season took a docu-series approach to telling a story about a young couple being terrorized by ancient spirits at their new home out in the woods, and things got extremely meta in the second half; the people who really experienced those events ended up back in the house with the actors who portrayed them in the series. So where do we go from here? It looks as if Season 6 is about to take another page out of The Blair Witch Project‘s playbook.
In the promo video for Episode 9 of “American Horror Story: Roanoke,” we see that a brand new group of characters is going to be added to the mix. With cameras strapped to their heads, they appear to be friends exploring the legend of the Blood Moon, and they will come face-to-face with the few characters who are still alive. And hey wait. Is that Taissa Farmiga?!
Farmiga, who played memorable roles in both “American Horror Story: Murder House” and “American Horror Story: Coven,” has been promised to appear in the new season, and if you were paying close attention to the Episode 9 promo, you may have spotted her. Fans are convinced that she’s briefly glimpsed in the 30-second tease…

If that is indeed Taissa Farmiga, and it sure as hell looks like it is, this means she’ll be playing one of the friends who venture out in the woods and document their terrifying, Blair Witch-like experience with the lost Roanoke colony. And yes, she’s totally wielding a golf club, which we can only hope she uses to bash in some heads. Please? Pretty please?!
