This town is HELLOWEEN and tonight, they’ve all come out to play.
I have seen horror fans create some truly incredible things in my ten years writing about this stuff, but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything as cool as Rise of the Boogeymen: a 14-minute-long mashup video that unites nearly all of the most iconic horror villains in the genre’s history. Antonio Maria Da Silva is the man who created the brilliant fan film, which was put together with such clever editing and video manipulation that it genuinely feels like you’re watching an Avengers-style horror movie… which would be, needless to say, the coolest horror movie ever made.
Rather than spoiling all the fun surprises, I’d rather you just sit back and enjoy the video for yourself; but to whet your appetite and ensure you hit that play button, allow me to tease everything from an epic fight between Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers to a black-and-white trip into Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho that sees the two icons working together to slay Marion Crane.
Again I say: this is one of the coolest things I have EVER seen. Enjoy.
