Butterball gets all the ladies.
It always makes me happy when little pieces of horror history are unearthed. We just discovered earlier this week, for example, a couple behind the scenes shots of Kane Hodder as Leatherface on the set of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3, and we know there are so many other gems out there just waiting to be unearthed. Speaking of which, let’s take a look at some Hellraiser history!
Over on his Facebook page today, actor Simon Bamford showed off a few previously unseen behind the scenes shots from the Hellraiser set. Bamford played the Butterball Cenobite in the original film, as well as the first sequel, and what he shared today are the very first early makeup test Polaroids for the character. Pretty cool. He also shared a couple photos of his bloodstained Hellraiser script, including a one-page section of a scene that didn’t make the final cut.
