New ‘Friday The 13th: The Game’ Tidbits!

Published

on

Those of you itching for Gun Media’s Friday The 13th: The Game to hurry up and get released (we already saw the fan-made mask for Tom Savini’s exclusive Jason skin in the game), the latest video by CharminEXSoft Gaming won’t make things any easier.

In his latest video, CharminEXSoft goes over some of the bits and pieces the crew working on Friday The 13th: The Game have been leaving on Twitter and the like. While these tidbits aren’t 100% confirmed, it’s at least being backed up by evidence. For starters, Part 6 Jason will not have the exclusivity of using darts. In a tweet, game co-creator Wes Keltner has seemingly confirmed that multiple (if not all) incarnations of Jason will be able to use the throwing dart, as well as restock their supply during the game.

In addition, Keltner also confirmed other things that fans have been suspecting for a while, such as Jason having the ability to use traps, as well as the ability to break the fences that are on the campgrounds. One big feature that was revealed a few weeks ago was Jason’s “Stalk” ability, which allows Jason to mute the music when Jason is near, as well as enhance Jason’s hearing. Sounds cheesy, I know, but listening to CharminEXSoft explain it makes the ability sound very cool (and scary for those playing as the counsellors).

Check out the video below, and cross your fingers that Friday The 13th: The Game will be released within the next month or so (it’s still scheduled for a spring release, after all).
