Mattel’s Monster High line gets an out-of-this-world look this Friday with the release of an official Killer Klowns from Outer Space doll based on beloved movie character Shorty.

Mattel previews, “This Klown may look diabolical, but don’t worry, Shorty probably won’t harvest you in cotton candy cocoons. Just don’t ask what’s in that swirly straw drink… trust us.”
The doll will be available Friday, May 15 at 9am PT on Amazon.com and MattelCreations.com.
Shorty will come with accessories including red boxing gloves and a mini cotton candy cocoon, and take note of her shoes, which are inspired by the film’s balloon animals!
The doll is dressed in Shorty’s iconic yellow outfit with a wild green hairdo, and she’s even got a stylish earring that dangles one of the cotton candy blaster guns from her ear.
A belt made of popcorn kernels completes the look, making this doll a pitch perfect tribute to the style, energy and charm of a truly singular horror-comedy cult classic from the 1980s.
Directed by the Chiodo Brothers, Killer Klowns has surprisingly become a merchandising powerhouse in recent years, with all kinds of collectibles and even an official video game.
The one thing we still haven’t gotten, despite the modern popularity of the brand? Another Killer Klowns from Outer Space movie, which has been rumored for many years now.
Perhaps this Monster High doll is the start of something beautiful…
