Let’s Build the Stephen King Theme Park of Your Wildest Nightmares! [The Losers’ Club Podcast]
Horror is no stranger at theme parks: The Magic Kingdom hosts the greatest ride of all time in The Haunted Mansion. Disney’s Hollywood Studios enters The Twilight Zone through The Tower of Terror. Universal Studios brings all your favorite movie maniacs to life each year with Halloween Horror Nights. And right behind that annual soiree is Knott’s Scary Farm, Six Flags’ FrightFest, Kennywood’s Phantom Fright Nights … the list goes on.
Missing from that list, though, is the Master of Horror himself, Stephen King.
While Universal came close to bringing his creations to life, there has yet to be a King’s Dominion for Constant Readers. So, with that in mind, The Losers’ Club put on their Imagifears caps, gathered around the drawing table, and designed a theme park that captures the world of Stephen King. From rollercoasters to haunted houses, mazes to eateries, the Losers sketched out a blueprint that would give Walt the heebie jeebies.
Fortunately for you, Constant Listeners, they recorded their entire conversation, which you can listen to below. For further adventures, be sure to join the Club over long days and pleasant nights via iTunes/Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, RadioPublic, Acast, Google Podcasts, and RSS.
