Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth Set to ‘Duel’ on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD
I love that westerns have made a comeback in recent years and I love that Woody Harrelson is in one. The Duel is set to hit home video (Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD) on August 23rd from Lionsgate and I will be there to snatch up a copy right away. I think this looks awesome and can’t wait to see it. Woody Harrelson (The Hunger Games franchise) and Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games franchise) face off in the action-packed western The Duel arriving on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD), DVD (plus Digital) and Digital HD August 23 from Lionsgate. The film is currently available On Demand. In the small town of Helena, a Texas Ranger investigates a series of unexplained deaths and uncovers a dark secret about the town’s charismatic preacher. The Duel shoots its way on Blu-ray and DVD for the suggested retail price of $24.99 and $19.98, respectively.
A Texas Ranger (Hemsworth) investigates a series of murders in a small town led by a charismatic preacher (Harrelson). However, the routine undercover investigation soon turns personal for the Ranger who must solve the case before he loses everything to the mysterious town.

‘Hokum’ Heads Home to Digital Tomorrow Ahead of Physical Media Release in August
After scaring up a strong theatrical run, Oddity director Damian McCarthy’s Hokum heads home to Digital this week.
Settle in for a spooky supernatural chiller as Hokum arrives on all Digital platforms to rent or own beginning June 2, followed by a Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD Combo and DVD release on August 11, 2026.
Adam Scott (“Severance”) stars in Hokum as reclusive novelist Ohm Bauman. When he retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, the staff’s tales of an ancient witch haunting the honeymoon suite take hold of his mind. Disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance draw Ohm into a nightmarish confrontation with the darkest corners of his past.
Peter Coonan (“The Alienist: Angel of Darkness”), David Wilmot (“Station Eleven”), Florence Ordesh (“Departure”), Michael Patric (“Frontier”), Will O’Connell (“Game of Thrones”), Brendan Conroy (“Bodkin”), and Austin Amelio (“The Walking Dead”) also star.

I wrote in my review for Bloody Disgusting, “A quaint Irish hotel with a deeply haunted history awaits an American writer in McCarthy’s third outing, continuing his streak for folkloric tales of supernatural karma and spine-tingling terror with a dark sense of humor.”
What’s next from Damian McCarthy? He’s currently writing a haunted house movie, but recent comments suggest he may be moving into other genres beyond that upcoming project.
