Yes, that’s totally a Shelly Finkelstein action figure.
Funko’s line of “ReAction Figures” was especially cool for horror fans, as it gave us the first-ever action figures of characters such as Kane from Alien and Brody from Jaws. Unfortunately, it seems that the retro-style line is no more, which makes us sad.
But we’re happy that one customizer is keeping it alive… in his own way.
Instagram’s @smn.zombie has been hard at work whipping up “ReAction Figures” of his very own, spreading the retro love to films and characters that even Funko never would’ve touched with a ten-foot pole. We’re talking The Gate. We’re talking Ghoulies. And we’re even talking Sleepaway Camp – the latter of which is maybe the most NSFW horror toy ever.
He’s also whipped up a handful of Friday the 13th toys that imagine every iteration of Jason as “ReAction Figures,” alongside Tommy Jarvis both young and grown up.
If only these were real. If only.
