This Artist Crochets Adorable Horror Movie Dolls You Can Buy On Etsy

If you can dream it up, there’s a good chance artist Chelsey Scully can bring it to life as a handmade, one of a kind crochet creation. Scully, who sells her dolls through the Etsy shop Tales from the Stitch, fittingly calls herself “The Stitchkeeper.” Her specialty? Horror dolls!

I have been knitting/crocheting for as long as I can remember,” Scully’s Etsy bio explains. “I was taught by my grandma back in the day when I was just a little spawn. I am a huge fan of all things scary, gross and just plain strange.”

Scully’s creations are currently selling for between $40-95, depending on the size and work involved, and she’s at this time offering up a wide array of horror movie icons including Chop Top from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Billy from Silent Night, Deadly Night, Ellen Ripley from Aliens, and both “Brain Gremlin” and “Bat Gremlin” from Gremlins 2.

She also takes custom orders, so if you don’t see it, you can request it.

Head over to Tales from the Stitch to poke around and maybe even invite one home!
