Netflix’s “Castlevania” series, initially a four-episode anime adaptation of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, was picked up for a second season last year, and this time around we’re getting eight episodes rather than four. With Season 2 set to arrive on October 26, we’ve learned today that Diamond Select Toys will be making collectibles based on the series!
The company announced, “Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles, LLC, is honored to have been selected as the master toy licensee for the series, with multiple collectible lines planned.”
Beginning in 2019, DST will offer products in a number of different categories, including Select action figures, Gallery PVC dioramas, Vinimates vinyl figures, Minimates mini-figures, resin statues and more. Products will be offered at multiple major retail chains, as well as through independent comic book shops via Diamond Comic Distributors.
“The Castlevania franchise has a rich, deep history, and the new animated series takes all of it to a new, vibrant, visually superb level,” said Diamond Select Toys president Chuck Terceira. “I’m personally a fan of the show, and I can’t wait to help execute some of its amazing character designs in 3-D.”
