Mondo Enters the Upside Down with Demogorgon Designer Figure for “Stranger Things” Day
In honor of “Stranger Things” Day — commemorating Will Byers’ disappearance on November 6, 1983 — Mondo has released a new Demogorgon designer figure.
Designed, sculpted, and painted by James Groman, the Demogorgon Upside Down Variant enters a dark new dimension with stylized paint deco and glow-in-the-dark Christmas lights.
Limited to 250, the 15″ soft vinyl toy has seven points of articulation.
It comes with two interchangeable heads (open mouth and closed mouth), two interchangeable right hands (open and skull holding), and a Dart figure.

The official social media accounts for Scary Movie had recently teased a bong-shaped popcorn bucket, but unfortunately it seems that was just a gag. The actual official Scary Movie popcorn bucket has been revealed by Discussing Film this afternoon, and it’s a bit more practical.
The actual Scary Movie popcorn bucket you’ll be able to get in theaters is shaped like an old school phone, as seen in Wes Craven’s Scream as well as the original Scary Movie in 2000.
The Scary Movie Phone Popcorn Bucket glows in the dark, and it’s emblazoned with “WAZZUP!” on the side, a reference to a memorable moment from the 2000 movie.
A phone number has been set up as part of the movie’s marketing campaign this week, allowing you to call Marlon Wayans’ Shorty for a fun spoof of the retro Moviefone experience.
