“Stranger Things” fans in Indiana will probably want to take a trip to Lafayette this upcoming Halloween season, as Exploration Acres is bringing the upside down to northwest Indiana’s largest corn maze and pumpkin patch beginning in September, reports WTHR 13.
The outlet details, “The area of the 20-acre maze is equivalent to about 15 football fields and the available paths total over 10 miles, making this the largest attraction Exploration Acres has attempted to date.”
The maze is being described as an “immersive environment” for fans of “Stranger Things,” and viewing it from high above reveals imagery from the show literally carved into the landscape. According to the president of Exploration Acres, the look was achieved in a high tech way.
“This year, new technology allowed us to plant the maze design like an inkjet printer, dropping seeds into the precise design we imagined,” said Tim Fitzgerald.
Exploration Acres is open for Halloween between September 14 and October 28.
