FX will premiere crossover season “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” on September 12, and we already knew that the series has already been renewed for a ninth season. Via Deadline tonight, we’ve learned that FX has also already renewed it for a tenth season!
“[Ryan Murphy] asked for a 10th season of American Horror Story which we we’re happy to give to him,” FX Networks CEO John Landgraf just told Deadline.
Murphy is embarking on a big new adventure with Netflix, so the site asked Landgraf if the 10th season of “American Horror Story” would be its final season. He replied…
”I don’t know. A lot of that comes down to Ryan and whether he still feels inspired about it. I think the eighth cycle, which is currently in production, is awesome and crazy, and I think the fans will really like it. Part of what’s cool about American Horror Story is its anthology nature. So it comes down to whether Ryan and his collaborators like (showrunner) Tim Minear could come up with stories that they are excited about.”
