Production is getting underway in Atlanta, Georgia on Shudder’s Creepshow revival, which will see effects master Greg Nicotero directing a handful of episodes. The first we have information on is titled “Survivor Type”, based on the Stephen King story.  Production Weekly shared the details:

“Shipwrecked on a desert island, Richard Pine reflects on his life and does the unthinkable in order to survive.”

Based on the iconic anthology film written by Stephen King and directed by George Romero, each episode of the anthology series will tell original fun and scary stories, and will be helmed by a different director. Yes, we have confirmed there are other directors attached and prepping to shoot this spring. We’re told that each episode will consist of two stories.

Keep your eyes peeled here for more details as they arrive.
