Coming completely out of left field, HBO released a trailer for a brand new Spanish-language horror-comedy series called “Los Espookys”.
The half-hour, six-episode series was created by several individuals, including “Portlandia’s” Fred Armisen and Lorne Michaels of “Saturday Night Live”, with Julio Torres and Ana Fabrega.
“Los Espookys” follows a group of friends who turn their love for horror into a peculiar business.
It appears to integrate real supernatural occurrences with that of a team creating their own for entertainment purposes. We’ll find out more when “Los Espookys” premieres on June 14th.
