FX Has Renewed “American Horror Story” for Seasons 10, 11, 12 and 13

“American Horror Story” isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

On top of the tenth season that had already been ordered, we’ve learned today (via Deadline) that FX has additionally renewed “American Horror Story” for another THREE seasons!

In other words, we’re getting seasons 10, 11, 12 and 13, with the tenth season set to air later this year. At this time, we don’t yet know what the season’s theme will be.

“Ryan [Murphy] and Brad [Falchuk] are the undisputed masters of horror TV, having created the anthological limited series with American Horror Story and sustaining its success for nearly a decade as FX’s highest-rated series,” FX’s John Landgraf said today at the Winter TCA press tour. “We are grateful to them and Dana Walden and our studio partners for committing to another three years.  AHS has showcased a wealth of award winning actors since day one and we appreciate the contributions of everyone, including Ryan, Brad and fellow executive producers Tim Minear, James Wong, Alexis Martin Woodall and Bradley Buecker, the writers, directors, cast and crew for each new, unforgettable installment of American Horror Story.”

Murphy told Deadline last year, “We’re working on an idea for season 10 that I think people will love because it’s about reuniting fan-favorite actors to come back.”

He had suggested at the time that he wasn’t sure whether or not season 10 would be the show’s final season, but obviously we don’t have to worry about that anymore.
