Greg Nicotero Previews Updated Creep Animatronic For Season 2 of Shudder’s “Creepshow” [Video]

The horror host known as “The Creep” will return in season two of Shudder’s “Creepshow,” ordered up after the debut season broke records for the streaming service last year.

Executive producer Greg Nicotero has revealed over on Instagram that the new episodes will begin filming in March, and he’s also previewed a brand new facelift for the Creep!

One issue I personally had with the “intro” and “outro” segments of Shudder’s “Creepshow” was that the animatronic Creep felt pretty lifeless all around, unable to speak or do much of anything other than cackle. He felt more like a Halloween decoration than he did an actual character, but it’s looking like he’ll be getting a bit of an upgrade for the new season.

Nicotero wrote on Instagram, “The Creep getting a wee facelift for season 2. Added lips to give him a smile function. Prep begins in a few weeks then filming in Atlanta in March.”

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Brad Dourif

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.
