One of Quibi’s ongoing bite-sized shows is “The Stranger” (read Meagan’s review), which stars It Follows and The Guest‘s Maika Monroe being stalked and tormented by Chronicle‘s Dane DeHaan.
The thriller follows an unassuming young rideshare driver (Monroe) who is thrown into her worst nightmare when a mysterious Hollywood Hills passenger (DeHaan) enters her car. Her terrifying ride with the stranger unfolds over 12 hours as she navigates the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles in a chilling game of cat and mouse.
Written and directed by Veena Sud (The Lie, Seven Seconds, The Killing), here’s a brand new look at the series in which Monroe’s character realizes she’s being texted from someone else inside the same bathroom…
