After an Instagram tease by “American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy, FX is officially moving forward with “American Horror Stories,” their spinoff series that will feature “one-hour contained episodes.”

Deadline reports that FX has given a formal green light to the series that will launch alongside “American Horror Story”, which has been renewed through season 13.

While a standalone series, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some overlap between the two, being that “AHS” has canonized the entire series.

As for “American Horror Story”, the site notes that like all Hollywood productions during the coronavirus pandemic, filming of the upcoming 10th season is in limbo, with no start date set yet.
