Ryan Murphy Teases “American Horror Story” Spinoff “American Horror Stories”?

Published

on

Assuming he’s not pulling our leg, Ryan Murphy took to Instagram this morning to low-key announce “American Horror Stories,” an “American Horror Story” spinoff that will feature “one-hour contained episodes.”

In other words, it sounds like there won’t be season-long themes/storylines for “American Horror Stories,” but rather it’ll be a true horror anthology series with a new/standalone horror story told in each episode.

Murphy writes on Instagram that he and the “AHS” cast discussed the spinoff in a recent Zoom chat, but what’s a little bit strange is that the photo included with the post is actually fan-made. Instagram fan page The Horror Story posted it just yesterday, imagining a Zoom reunion that hadn’t actually taken place. It would seem, however, that though the image is fake, there indeed was a legitimate Zoom hangout between Murphy and the cast.

And Murphy’s caption, wherein he announces “American Horror Stories,” seems to be quite genuine. He also mentions that the team discussed when Season 10 will begin filming, and other things he can’t talk about at this time.

Stay tuned for more as we learn it.

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.
