This past July marked two years since the third season of “Stranger Things” premiered on Netflix, with pandemic delays forcing the upcoming fourth season to be pushed to an unknown date. Filming is nearly complete on Season 4, and now we have a better idea of when to expect it. Announced this morning, Season 4 will premiere sometime next year, 2022!

You can watch a 30-second teaser video for Season 4 of “Stranger Things” below, which mostly features clips from past seasons – alongside some sneak peeks from the new season!

Fresh from Season 4, we’re treated to glimpses of Eleven and Hopper (with a flamethrower!), along with a group shot featuring Steve, Dustin, Max, Robin, Nancy and Lucas. The short teaser video concludes with a shot of the kids back on their bikes, calling back to the first season that made us fall in love with this group of characters in the first place. Warm, happy feelings!

Check out the teaser below, and expect more soon…

What we know of Season 4 thus far is that Hopper is still alive, “imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other.”

“Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything….”

“Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more,” the Duffer Brothers had said back in February of last year.

The season’s cast includes Robert Englund, who will play Victor Creel, a disturbed man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.

Last week we learned that Steve Buscemi had joined the cast of “Wednesday” Season 2 at Netflix, and Variety lets us know that Thandiwe Newton (“Westworld”) has also signed on.

Jenna Ortega is back as Wednesday Addams in the upcoming second season of Netflix’s “Wednesday,” with Steve Buscemi playing the new principal of Nevermore Academy.

Jenna Ortega stars in the hit series as Wednesday Addams, with Luis Guzmán playing Gomez and Catherine Zeta-Jones playing Morticia in Tim Burton’s Netflix series. Christina Ricci also appears in the show, playing a brand new role, with Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester.

“Wednesday” is described as “a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.” The series follows…

“Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships.”

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (“Smallville”) are the writers and showrunners, with Tim Burton executive producing and directing several episodes of the show’s debut season.

We don’t know much about “Wednesday” Season 2 at the moment but Jenna Ortega has promised that the new season will be “bolder” and darker than the first season of the series.

“We’ve decided we want to lean into the horror more,” Ortega said last year.
