“Crystal Lake” – Creepy Duck Design Whips Up a Fan Poster for the Peacock Series

Published

on

Creepy Duck Design is one of the best poster designers in the game right now, recently creating incredible art for Bloody Disgusting releases including Terrifier 2 and V/H/S/99.

While some of Creepy Duck’s posters are officially part of marketing campaigns, others are purely fan art that he whips up because he just loves doing it so much. That’s how Creepy Duck got his start in the game, and over on Twitter you’ll find new art almost every day.

This week, Creepy Duck has come up with a concept poster for Bryan Fuller, A24 and Peacock’s “Crystal Lake,” a fan-made take on the just-announced Friday the 13th series.

Creepy Duck tweets, “Really excited for the great @BryanFuller’s take on #CrystalLake. The man made Hannibal (’nuff said). Here’s my new concept poster! Yes, I know it’s a prequel BUT I’m hoping we’ll get to see Jason in all his hockey masked glory again.”

Will we see hockey mask Jason in the Peacock series? Is that even on the table, you ask? The good news is that it very much is, as Fuller and the team are legally able to use ANY of the existing elements from the Friday the 13th franchise that they desire. The series is set to be a prequel, but Fuller teased this week that we’ll very likely see Jason in several different forms.

Stay tuned for more on “Crystal Lake” as we learn it.

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Brad Dourif

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.
