The streamer Paramount+ has made the official announcement this afternoon that the popular supernatural drama series “School Spirits” will return for Season 4.
The third season of “School Spirits” starring Peyton List premiered on January 28, with the Season 3 finale airing on March 4. “School Spirits” Season 3 episodes had fun titles that paid tribute to horror classics, including “The Halls Have Eyes,” “Children of the Scorned,” and “Dawn of the Deb.” The third season also won over horror fans by bringing Jennifer Tilly into the mix.
Oscar-nominated horror legend Jennifer Tilly (“Chucky“) guest starred in Season 3 as Dr. Deborah Hunter-Price, the district superintendent who will not tolerate disruption.
“School Spirits” stars Peyton List as Maddie, a teen stuck in the afterlife investigating her own disappearance. Maddie goes on a crime-solving journey as she adjusts to high school purgatory, but the closer she gets to discovering the truth, the more secrets she uncovers.
Season 3 plunged Maddie and her friends into a deeper, darker mystery as the veil between worlds grows dangerously thin, with new dangers and dark secrets beginning to surface.
The show’s third season was clearly a hit with audiences and critics alike, currently boasting a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes from critics and a 83% Popcornmeter score from fans.
Peyton List stars in Paramount+ series “School Spirits” with Kristian Ventura, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese, Rainbow Wedell, Josh Zuckerman, Ci Hang Ma, Miles Elliot, and Milo Manheim.
Launched in 2023, “School Spirits” is created by Nate Trinrud & Megan Trinrud, who serve as co-showrunners alongside Oliver Goldstick (“Pretty Little Liars”).
