Here’s How to Make the Nurse Costume From ‘Silent Hill’

Published

on

One of the most enduring enemy types within the Silent Hill universe are the nurses. Starting as a more terrifying entity, courtesy of Alessa’s fears, they’ve since become more sexualized and erotic, beginning with James Sunderland’s repressed urges manifesting into a gruesome reality. Their jerky movements and unsettling appearance has made them a fan favorite and you can see them left and right in the cosplay community.

Speaking of that world, have you ever found yourself wanting to transform yourself into one of these nurses but have never understood how to make that a reality? If that’s the case, the folk over at DIY Cosplay Shop (via AWE me) have put together a tutorial that explains exactly what you’ll need to do in order to make that outfit!

Give the video a watch and let us know if you think you can pull this look off this Halloween!

Legendary’s Monsterverse is a multi-media empire at this point, and the brand’s first ever theme park attraction is on the way. Fans in Seoul, South Korea will be able to enter the Monsterverse with Kong x Godzilla: The Ride, launching at Lotte World Adventure this month.

Kong x Godzilla: The Ride opens up for business July 24 in Seoul, South Korea!

Head over to Variety for an in-depth preview of the epic new attraction.

Legendary’s James Ngo previews, “This is going to be Lotte’s biggest investment as a ride in the park. It’s going to be the marquee ride and really the main attraction for everything. From the moment guests come to line up, they are being recruited to join Monarch. That’s kind of our opening human touchpoint for the guests to be able to step foot into this world.”

“Kong really guides them through Hollow Earth and all the experiences, while also protecting them against all the dangers that they would find in Hollow Earth,” Ngo continues. “There are massive screens, a lot of amazing media that we’ve created with our partner. There are physical sets as well for our Titans and animatronics at massive, massive scale.

“The combination of real-world things with the media that works together in order to enhance the guest experience makes it extremely immersive.”

Ngo also notes in his chat with Variety, “This is the right time in the franchise for us to bring these major experiential projects to the fans so that they can experience it in real life. We’re going into our sixth movie next year; we have a TV show. So the franchise is kind of at its apex right now in terms of all the different media projects.”

On the big screen, Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. recently announced the title of the sixth Monsterverse film: Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, which is expected sometime in 2027.
