New Update for Mobile Game ‘Jurassic World Alive’ Adds “Battle With Friends” and More!

Published

on

Essentially the Jurassic World version of Pokemon Go, mobile game Jurassic World Alive tasks you with collecting DNA to create dinosaurs that can then be brought into your world with Augmented Reality technology or used to do battle with other players to win special rewards. The game launched back in May, and a big time new update just went live TODAY.

The update includes New Creatures (seen below) and fun New Features…

Achievements

  • Over 30 Achievements available via the Achievements menu under Player Level.
  • Earn a Cash reward for completing each Achievement, and collect more the further you get!

Seasonal Tournaments

  • More information to come, so stay tuned!

EXPLORATION

Maps

  • Higher chances of encountering Rare or Epic creatures.
  • Improved map visuals with more texture and clarity.
  • Added more Supply Drops to help you in your exploration.
  • Normal Supply Drops are now orange to make them more visible on the map.
  • Payouts on VIP Supply Drops will give double rewards with every spin.
  • See the map change from daynightdawn and dusk.

Strike Events

  • Strike Events are PvE battles that take place on the map in two all-new arenas, Daybreak and Nightfall! New Strike Events will appear on your map on a weekly basis. Unlike normal battle, Strike Event battles last several rounds. In a Strike Event, you’ll need to defeat the opponent team to move onto the next round. But be careful, this team will become stronger with each new battle.
  • Every time you win a battle, your progress will be saved.
  • You’ll also get a set of retries, that allows you to re-enter battle at your current milestone if you’re defeated.
  • If you can win every round before using up all your retries, you’ve won the event!
  • Even if you don’t make it all the way to the end, you’ll collect rewards every time you progress. But if you win, you’ll collect the grand prize!

Location Reporting

  • The new Flag Button can be used to report a dangerous spawn point or Supply Drop on the map.

SOCIAL

  • The News Center can now be found with your Mail in the Message Center.
  • Use the all NEW Social tab and start building social groups with the Friends feature.
  • Once you’ve invited your friends via their gamer ID, you can challenge them to all new Friendly Battles.
  • Friendly Battle will not affect your trophy count or Leaderboard.
  • During Friendly Battles, all creatures are set to level 26 for a fair competition that tests your skill.

BATTLE

  • We’ve reworked the creature roster in order to create a globally balanced experience and to avoid power creep.

SETTINGS

  • An option to improve the Battery life on older devices is available.
  • To prevent impacting your data plan, Supply Drops no longer have ads, however, rewards have been increased to compensate for this. Nevertheless, you can still choose to watch ads on Special Event Supply Drops to respin and collect more rewards.
  • AND… minor text fixes.

New “Splendor” Tome Available Now for ‘Dead by Daylight’ [Trailer]

Published

on

Dead by Daylight fans have another Tome launch today in Tome 19: SPLENDOR, bringing with it a new content update, the game’s next Modifier, a new Tome packed with unlockable rewards, and a major update to the in-game store. Accompanying the update will be several Outfit Collections, which will be arriving over the next couple of weeks.

After giving fans a taste of what’s to come with the time-limited Lights Out Modifier, Behaviour Interactive has introduced a new one with Chaos Shuffle, offering a completely different challenge. In the Chaos Shuffle Modifier, players will be jumping into Trials with randomly selected Perks from all of Dead by Daylight’s available Perks. However, instead of relying on tactics they’ve grown accustomed to, players will now have to contend and strategize with the Perks they’re dealt at the beginning of the match. Chaos Shuffle will be out soon.

Along with the new Modifier is the new Event Tome with SPLENDOR, packed with new challenges, memories, and classy rewards to Dead by Daylight, inspired by all things gold and silk. Players will unlock memories that offer a glimpse into The Artist and Zarina Kassir’s past, with new outfits for The Trickster, Nea Karlsson, Mikaela Reid, The Skull Merchant, and many more characters across the Free and Premium Tracks. Players who purchase the Rift Pass instantly unlock a gold-adorned Outfit for The Trapper, and those who complete the track are rewarded with a brutal Ultra Rare Outfit for The Doctor.

As for the in-game store, with over 30 Chapters packed with content and outfits for our numerous Survivors and Killers, the in-game store has been given a complete visual overhaul. The new interface allow players to easily find items that are on sale, cosmetics from a specific collection, as well as purchase bundles that contain multiple items at a discounted price.

Finally, there are the new Outfit Collections that are coming to Dead by Daylight in the coming weeks.

  • The Forgotten Myth Collection brings a horrifying Visceral Legendary Outfit for The Huntress, complete with its own unique Mori.
  • Metamorphosis manifests in different ways. The returning Chrysalis Collection reimagines both Killer and Survivor with butterfly or moth-inspired looks.
  • The return of the Visions of the Future Collection offers new futuristic looks for several Survivors.
  • A new addition to the Nicolas Cage Essentials Collection proves the actor needs no stylist to look cool.
  • The Forgotten Garden Collection spreads botanical brutality to two Killers.
  • The Cats & Dogs Collection brings more cozy sweaters to the game inspired by our furry friends.

Dead by Daylight is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
