With Cyanide Studio prepping their adaptation of Call of Cthulhu for its October 30th release, they’ve released a new gameplay trailer at this year’s Gamescom, plunging you right into the game’s dark atmosphere, as well as showing the multiple potential playstyles and gameplay mechanics.
Players will have to search for clues, reconstruct crime scenes and interrogate locals (after finding said clues) in order to unravel the mystery of the deaths of the Hawkins family at their mansion at Darkwater Island. The sanity and psychosis mechanics sadly aren’t covered in this trailer, but hopefully we get some details on those before October rolls around.
Call of Cthulhu is set for release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
