Capcom Announces Limited-Time ‘Monster Hunter: World’ Crossover With ‘Assassin’s Creed’

To go along with their previously-announced expansion and crossover with The Witcher 3, Capcom have teamed up with Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed to bring more goodies to Monster Hunter: World.

From now until January 10th, Monster Hunter: World players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to find the “Bayek Layered Armor” and the specialized “Assassin’s Hood”. To get these items, you’ll have to complete a new quest called “SDF: Silent, Deadly, and Fierce”.

The quest has you slaying high-level monsters, after which you’ll be granted a Senu Feather. Get two of these feathers, and you can trade them in for either the Bayek Layered Armor, which you can wear over your existing armour, or the Ezio-style Assassin’s Hood.

When worn, the hood boosts your damage when attacking from a stealth state, and makes you faster when running or climbing.

Sadly, PC players won’t be getting this crossover event at the moment, but it’s expected at a later date.
