Three weeks ago, GOG.com dropped the news that they had snagged the original Diablo for sale, and were in the process of getting Blizzard’s other big franchise, Warcraft, on the site.
Well, that day is today, as both Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Warcraft II: Battle.net Edition are now available.
While the original Warcraft is in plain ol’ DOSBox, Warcraft II comes in two versions, which players can choose from via the launcher. The classic one allows for the authentic experience and a fully functional multiplayer with Blizzard’s Battle.net online gaming service. The updated version comes with a number of fixes to provide full compatibility with modern machines as well as hi-resolution support and upscaling.
Now where’s that Warcraft III remaster?
