Despite the mixed reviews, Sony Bend’s PlayStation 4-exclusive zombie epic Days Gone still managed to out-muscle Mortal Kombat 11 to snag the top spot in the UK All Format sales chart. In fact, Days Gone had the biggest physical sales launch in the UK so far this year, beating out the likes of Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2.
While the exact sales figures aren’t yet known, the list doesn’t take into account digital sales.
Meanwhile, Saber Interactive’s World War Z (check out our review), which has surprised many with its success, fell from number one last week to number 10.
While Days Gone isn’t perfect, JP’s take on the game is that you need to stick with its slow start for it to get better.
