Described as a dark post-apocalyptic shooter, developers People Can Fly had teased Outriders before E3, but have now graced E3 with a reveal trailer. Outriders is a 1-3 player, drop-in-drop-out co-op shooter set in an original sci-fi universe.
Square Enix External Studios co-head Jon Brooke stated, “Outriders is a very exciting project for us at Square Enix External Studios. We’re focusing on giving players a true AAA co-op shooter with a deep feature set and strong narrative. The team at People Can Fly really know how to make gunplay feel tight and powerful and we can’t wait to show you more later this winter.”
The title heads to PC, Xbox One and PS4 in mid-2020.
