Full List of TurboGrafx-16 Mini Titles Announced; Launches Next March

Turns out that those looking forward to the TurboGrafx-16 Mini won’t have to snag the Japanese equivalent to play Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, after all. In fact, apart from one title switch, the full list of 50 titles will be practically identical across the three regions!

On top of that, we also have a release date for the Konami-backed console. The TurboGrafx-16 mini (North America) / PC Engine CoreGrafx mini (Europe) / PC Engine mini (Japan) will launch on March 19 for 10,500 yen. All three versions of the mini console will be sold exclusively through Amazon Japan, with pre-orders opening on July 15 at 0:00 JST.

As mentioned, the mini console includes 50 games. The TurboGrafx-16 mini and its European equivalent, the PC Engine CoreGrafx mini, offer the same games. The only difference comes in the games offered by the Japanese PC Engine mini, which swaps Salamander for Tokimeki Memorial.

For genre fans, that list now includes Snatcher, Cadash, Jaseiken Necromancer, and of course, the aforementioned Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Sadly (and inexcusably, for some), Namco’s Splatterhouse is absent from this collection.

You can check out the full list of titles included in the console on the official website.
