A new month is right around the corner, and for Xbox One users, that means another crop of games to snag for free using their Xbox Live Gold membership. For genre fans, this month we’re graced with Gears of War 4, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
With Gears of War 5 set to launch in a matter of months (September 10, to be exact), it only makes sense to reacquaint yourselves with the franchise with Gears 4. Gears of War 4 will be available all month to claim.
Meanwhile, Konami’s experiment in 3rd-person Castlevania in Lords of Shadow will be available from August 16-31. While it’s not what traditional Castlevania fans were expecting, it’s still a worthwhile game. Just ignore the sequel, and you’ll be fine. Now, if only Konami would give fans a proper game…
Other games available in August include Forza Motorsport 6 and Torchlight.
