‘Resident Evil 2’ Invades ‘Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’ With Leon And Claire

Published

Two great tastes taste great together for Capcom. With Monster Hunter World: Iceborne still killing it at retail, and Halloween right around the corner, Capcom have decided to bring over another of their big guns into the game: Resident Evil 2!

Announced during its “World of Capcom” panel at New York Comic-Con 2019, Capcom is bringing RE2’s Leon and Claire into the Iceborne expansion. No details have been revealed as of yet, but from the looks of things, you’ll be getting new zombie-theme costumes (and movements) for your Hunters, new weapons, and new monsters.

Oh yeah, and Mr. X himself is making an appearance.

As well, Capcom also announced the winners of the weapon and Palico design contests. The winner of the weapon design contest is the “Black Eagle” Charge Blade, designed by Sheep, and the winner of the Palico design contest is the “Wiggler Set α+,” designed by Zyralynn. Both will launch in November.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is out now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version is due out January 2020.

After its biggest update ever back in January, the time has finally arrived for Lovely Hellplace and DreadXP’s Dread Delusion to exit Early Access. The horror-tinged open world RPG will leave the Steam Early Access service on May 14, and has a new release date trailer to celebrate.

Dread Delusion has been in Steam Early Access since June 2022, with developer Lovely Hellplace continuously updating the retro-inspired and exploration-centric RPG with new content and improvements. With the upcoming 1.0 release, Dread Delusion will be adding a new realm called the Underlands, as well as new towns, new dungeons, new quests, new endgame content, cursed enemies, countless pages of dialogue and lore, and much more. More info on the launch update will be revealed as the 1.0 release approaches.

Dread Delusion will also be part of this year’s LudoNarraCon festival on Steam, which will also include a 20% discount from May 9th to the 16th.

Inspired by classic RPGs of the 2000s, Dread Delusion takes place in a broken world. Its surface seethes with an undead curse, while humanity clings to flying continents in the sky. From mushroom forests to undead mausoleums, these strange places and their denizens await you. You must find a way to mend this fractured world , or if you choose, seek power and profit for yourself.
