Last week, we told you about the Haunted PS1 Wretched Weekend game jam that was being put on by the itch.io community. One of the games was MINIGOLIATH’s The House In The Woods, which based on the feedback from those who tried it, has received an update.
Inspired by films like The Blair Witch Project and The Void, The House In The Woods‘s story is simple: On a camping trip, your friend has vanished into the night. As you step away from your campsite to investigate, you quickly realise that you’re are lost as well. According to developers, the update brings the game closer to what was originally envisioned, but wasn’t able to be accomplished in the timeframe of the game jam, including a proper ending.
