Four years after the game made it to PS4, developer IMGN.PRO’s “inspired by a true story” horror game Kholat will see a release on the Nintendo Switch on May 14th. In fact, it’s available for pre-order now on the Nintendo eShop.
As a bonus, we’re treated to a new trailer that instead of showing gameplay footage, goes the live-action route.
In Kholat, you play as an investigator searching the Kholat Syakhl area for clues as to what happened in what became known as the Dyatlov Pass incident. The 1959 event had nine Russian college students going on a hiking trip. Sometime during the trip, all nine fled their tents in horror. All of them were found dead, six from hypothermia, three from physical trauma.
