‘Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2’ Pushed Back Again; Will Release in 2021
The hits keep coming with the repeated delays of upcoming genre titles, as Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive have announced that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been delayed again, this time into 2021. The teams explained the delay in a message posted to Twitter, saying that their goal has been to “deliver the best game possible”, and a “worthy successor to the original Bloodlines game”.
As a result of the expectations, however, “we have made the difficult decision that we need more time. This means our goal to release in 2020 is no longer possible. Moving launch is one of the changes we are making to ensure the best player experience possible.”
No new specific release date has been confirmed yet for the game, however given the mistakes made when the original game was rushed out the door early, it once again makes sense that Hardsuit and Paradox would make this decision.
Bloodlines 2 is expected for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

‘Tormented Souls II’ Launches Physically and Digitally for the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 15 [Trailer]
PQube and developer Dual Effect will finally be bringing their send-up to old-school survival horror games in Tormented Souls II to the Nintendo Switch 2 just in time for Halloween this year. The game, which launched on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series last October, will head to the Switch 2 on October 15. In addition to the digital release, there will also be a physical game-key card edition.
Original Tormented Souls protagonist Caroline Walker returns after her ordeal at Wildberger Hospital. Yearning for a normal life, Caroline is dealt another bad hand when her sister Anna falls victim to a mysterious affliction. When conventional remedies prove ineffective, Caroline looks to the supernatural and an ancient, forbidden ritual for a cure, leading her to the remote South-American community of Puerto Miller.
Founded centuries ago by the secretive Ismuit tribe, Puerto Miller is home to the aforementioned minor religious order that spurned connection with the outside world. As these things go, beneath the town’s crumbling façade lies an ancient, unspeakable horror.
Fortunately, Caroline will have a greatly expanded range of weapons at her disposal. Caroline can also take advantage of the new quick select feature that allows her to switch weapons in the heat of battle, as well as new upgrade components to further strengthen her arsenal.
