[Trailer] ‘Mortal Shell’ DLC “The Virtuous Cycle” Arrives August 18th For Consoles And PC, Including Steam
Revealed at this year’s E3, we’ll be getting Mortal Shell‘s “The Virtuous Cycle” DLC later this month! Developer Cold Symmetry have announced that the DLC will arrive August 18th, and will also be coinciding with Mortal Shell’s debut on Steam.
The Virtuous Cycle “reinvents your journey through Fallgrim and beyond as adversaries cycle and shuffle upon each death.” New in the DLC are pillars that will bestow over 100 new talents for you to inherit, allowing you to create and develop your combat style as you see fit.
The DLC also grants players command over Hadern, once your elusive teacher, now yours to master as the fifth possessable Shell. Playable within both Mortal Shell’s main campaign and The Virtuous Cycle, Hadern’s unique skill tree unlocks a a wealth of new talents, from dagger mastery to an ability to absorb damage.
Also be on the lookout for Axatana, Fallgrim’s most venerable weapon. In your hands, Axatana will either assemble itself into a supreme heavy axe, or split into lightning-fast dual katanas. Both stances come with their own unique movesets.
In addition to Steam, The Virtuous Cycle will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Epic Games Store for $7.99 USD.

‘Little Nightmares III’ DLC “The Backstage” Releases June 12 [Trailer]
During the Future Games Show, Bandai Namco and Supermassive have announced the first DLC for Little Nightmares III in “The Backstage”. Featuring new puzzles and challenges, this additional content will take players to the darkest part of the Carnevale, where they’ll meet a new character and face new perils. You won’t have to wait long to get it, either, as Little Nightmares III – The Backstage DLC will release on June 12.
In this new adventure, Low will meet Dime, a new child who wears a torch hat, which turns out to be a very helpful tool for finding their way in what lies beneath the curtains of The Carnevale. The two children will have to face new threats and use their light to find a way to save Alone from the hands of the Puppeteer.
In the original game, players meet Low and Alone, who are trapped within the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing places. The two will have to work together to survive in a dangerous world full of delusions. As they scamper and shelter on their journey to escape the grasp of an even greater threat, their senses may also lead them astray into the shadows.
Little Nightmares III is currently available for PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
