‘Castlevania: Harmony of Despair’ And ‘Resident Evil: Code Veronica X’ Highlight Xbox Games With Gold For October
Xbox fans are getting their Halloween treats once again this year with Microsoft’s October lineup of free games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Alongside Aaero and Hover for Xbox One, Xbox 360 games include Konami’s Castlevania: Harmony of Despair and Capcom’s Resident Evil Code: Veronica X.
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair will be available from October 1 to October 1`5, and is playable via backwards compatibility. Likewise, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X is also playable via backwards compatibility, and will be available from October 16 to October 31.
And for you long-suffering Code: Veronica X fans pining for a remake, you can download the demo of the fan remake, which is still being developed.

Third ‘Hellblade’ Title ‘Senua’ Announced, Coming in 2027 to PS5, Xbox Series and PC [Trailer]
Ninja Theory had its own surprise at the Xbox Games Showcase, announcing that a third entry in the Hellblade series is in development, and unlike the previous entry, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, you won’t have to wait five years to play. Simply titled Senua, the game will launch in 2027 for will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
Taking place after the events of Hellblade and Hellblade II, Senua is set in a fractured vision of purgatory, where a Celtic warrior (which is Senua) must fight to reach the afterlife and reunite with those she has loved and lost. Story details are purposely being kept under wraps for now, but players can expect to confront threats both within and without, master tactical combat to overcome nightmarish creatures, and explore a fantastical world shaped by myth and memory.
