Just in case you need reminding, 100 Games and OhDeer Studio’s Anthology of Fear arrives on Steam this Friday, March 17. The developers have released a new teaser for Anthology of Fear, which is touted as being “guaranteed to play with the player’s mind and feed off their greatest fears”.
Originally featuring three unique stories, each unrelated in plot and with distinctive gameplay elements, Anthology of Fear now focuses on one story involving the player as a one-man investigation team as they try to solve the mystery of their brother’s mysterious disappearance. All the while, they must struggle to survive in a nightmarish reality with seemingly no apparent way out. Your personal investigation leads you into an abandoned medical facility, where you discover its disturbing past, as well as what happened to people associated with it.
You’ll have to avoid the dangers waiting for you on your way to the truth. Utilizing your surroundings to gather clues, you’ll also experience surreal happenings that blurs the line between fiction and reality.
If you can’t wait, you can always check out the free demo. Still no word on the game appearing on consoles, despite the original intention for the game to see an appearance on the Nintendo Switch.
