Ahead of its appearance at PAX West next month, Kakao Games and developer Ocean Drive Studio have released a brand new trailer for their upcoming zombie survival sim God Save Birmingham, giving players their first look at what the game’s co-op component. Those of you heading to PAX West can play a playable build of the Closed Beta of the game from September 4-7.
If that’s not enough news, Ocean Drive Studio has also announced a co-op-focused Core Group Test for a select number of players who have been playtesting the game since the pre-alpha and alpha stages. The Core Group Test will be announced in the coming weeks. Following that, there will be an announcement about a co-op beta test.
Those interested in getting in on the fun can follow the game on Steam page for news and updates on the game, such as a breakdown of player feedback from the latest Closed Beta, which showed that the biggest request among God Save Birmingham players is co-op.
Set in 14th-century Birmingham, England, God Save Birmingham sees you as the lone survivor of an undead plague that has besieged the medieval market town. As a result, you must forage for supplies, craft tools and weapons, as well as hunt for food, water, and shelter, with only your wits to protect you. All the while, the undead horde creeps closer.
God Save Birmingham is currently in development for release into Early Access.
