‘Resident Evil 4’ Remake VR Mode Revealed During PlayStation Showcase [Trailer]

The wait is almost over for Resident Evil 4 remake fans looking for that VR Mode. Capcom made the big reveal for the free DLC during Sony’s State of Play. No word on a release date, but it’s currently in development for Sony’s PlayStation VR2.

Get even closer to Leon S. Kennedy’s critically acclaimed story of survival with the Resident Evil 4 VR Mode free DLC, coming exclusively to PlayStation VR 2 for those who own the game on PlayStation 5. The PlayStation Showcase provided eager fans with a first look at gameplay, demonstrating how the PlayStation VR2 Sense controller makes core gameplay systems such as parrying enemy attacks even more immersive and intuitive.

More information on just when the VR Mode will be landing will be shared at a later date. That’s on top of the “Separate Ways” minigame starring Ada Wong, which was absent during the State of Play, but fingers crossed that we’ll be getting more info on it in the very near future.

Resident Evil 4 is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series.
