Manage Your Trendy Vampire Bar in ‘Blood Bar Tycoon’ [Trailer]
Horror generally doesn’t get many simulation games, so leave it to Clever Trickster Studio to remedy that with their upcoming title, Blood Bar Tycoon. Slated for an October 28 release, the developer has announced the launch of the open beta for Blood Bar Tycoon, which will be available until early October on Steam. Those players participating in the game’s beta will be able to share feedback with the studio via Discord.
In case the name didn’t give it away, Blood Bar Tycoon puts you as a vampire bar manager, and you run a bar that deals in blood, with your clientele being vampires. You’ve got to transform shabby bistros into the trendiest bars in the neighborhood, as well as build blood factories in Crimson City to become an Elder. But to do so, you’ll need to lure humans to harvest their blood, process it, and serve your vampiric customers.
Managing the building aspect is just one part of the game. You’ll also need to manage your stocks and avoid bankruptcy. And then there are those humans that you just drained a little too much. Bodies will bring the unwanted attention of vampire hunters looking to burn down your bars. You’ll need to research machinery in order effectively harvest humans without leaving them bone dry.
If you’re of the micromanaging type, you can take control of your minions running the bar, managing them like a true vampire overlord to tackle emergencies. Blood Bar Tycoon aims to seamlessly blend micromanagement with automation, assign work sectors, and set priorities to grow your dark empire like an evil mastermind.
Bloober Team appears to have something in the works related to Cronos: The New Dawn. At least, that would appear to be the case, thanks to an accidental reveal ahead of this weekend’s IGN Live event as part of Summer Game Fest.
In the list of title reveals during the event, something referred to as “Cronos: Lazarus” appeared in the list, but was quickly scrubbed. However, not before the internet picked up on it. Adding more fuel to the reveal were two screenshots posted to X by insider Intercelluar, which appear to show the official art. It’s not clear yet, but this is more than likely a new DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn, given that Bloober Team is already busy with multiple other titles, including the Silent Hill remake, and the recently-announced Layers of Fear 3.
If you haven’t checked out Cronos: The New Dawn (and you never read Aaron’s review of the game), the game is set in the haunting ruins of New Dawn, a world inspired by Nowa Huta, a real historical district in Kraków, Poland. Cronos: The New Dawn unfolds across two timelines: a post-apocalyptic future decaying in despair, and the gritty, industrial 1980s reality. This powerful duality blends retro realism, dystopian sci-fi, and a retro-futuristic atmosphere to create a deeply immersive world filled with tension, mystery, and terror.
Players step into the hunting suit of The Traveler — an enigmatic agent of the Collective, sent into zones scarred by the Change, a cataclysmic event that shattered time, memory, and flesh. What remains is a world suspended between past and future — haunted, hostile, and unravelling. Survival is anything but certain.
